Mills was killed by Cornelius Buckley, at Eureka, Eureka
County. Mills was a member of the Nevada Assembly in
1869.
Buckley was a noted desperado.

The trouble grew out of a misunderstanding in regard to
seats at the Opera House. Bigelow fired five shots. Botta did not
