HOLCOMB, Grove----- the well known Truckee
Meadow's rancher, died at his home Saturday night of
pneumonia.
Everything that medical science could do to prolong his
life was done but without success. Mr. Holcomb was well known
in this city and had the respect of all classes for his
honesty and upright dealings. Last Sunday he attended the Elk
Memorial services, of which order he was a member at Reno and
was apparently in good health. For several years he was County
Commissioner of Washoe county. Morning Appeal December 12, 1905
